Help Preserve History
Your Membership Make a Difference
We rely on the generosity of our visitors, members, and supporters to maintain and enhance the museum. Your membership fees and donations play a vital role in preserving history, ensuring that future generations can continue to learn about the brave servicemen and women who were stationed here.
How Your Support Helps
Thanks to our members and contributions over the past few years, we’ve been able to make significant improvements to the museum, including:
Restoring Historic Features – Your donations helped replace the 80+ year-old windows, which were beyond restoration. To preserve authenticity, we carefully reused the original wired glass and metal fittings.
Roof Repairs – Memberships and donations funded essential roof panel replacements, protecting the museum’s invaluable exhibits.
Honouring Loved Ones – Supporters who contributed had the opportunity to dedicate a named bomb plaque in memory of a loved one, a relative, or a service member who served at Ridgewell. This lasting tribute not only honours their legacy but also helps secure the museum’s future.
Memorial Upkeep – Volunteers and members ensure that the four memorials within the airfield boundaries are cleaned and well-maintained as a mark of respect for those who served.
